Battery 519 and the Great Dune metal print by Bill Swartwout. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
The "Big Guns" of Fort Miles were housed in heavily built fortifications such as Battery 519 inside the Great Dune at Fort Miles, near Lewes, Delaware. The fort protected the entrance to Delaware Bay during World War II and is now being transformed into a first-class military museum at, what is today, Cape Henlopen State Park. The 12-inch gun seen in this panorama was resurrected from the Battleship Wyoming.
