This ia a simulated charcoal sketch of a daffodil, narcissus genus, a predominantly spring perennial flower that often marks the coming of Spring. In this photograph a spring rain adds a bit of drama to this yellow daffodil trumpet leaning against the smooth wet bark of a crepe myrtle tree. The "charcoal" sketch edit brings out a bit of added texture to this wonderful interpretation of Spring.
