Scenes like this seascape appear quite often during a vacation to the tropical paradise of St. Lucia in the Southern Caribbean. While this may appear to be a black and white photograph, it is actually in full color. However, the cloud cover preceding an afternoon shower and the sunbeams (crepuscular rays) streaming through the clouds give this a monochromatic look.

This photograph was taken from the deck of the Grandeur of the Seas, one of the ships in the Royal Caribbean Fleet. These getaway vacations always provide spectacular scenery.
