The Assateague Island National Seashore is home to many forms of wildlife, including this Sika Deer Fawn. The most well-known fauna are the wild ponies of Assateague but there is a surprisingly large population of deer - both White Tail and Sika. This "youngster" walked up to where I was sitting with my camera and told me he would look wonderful as a photograph on your wall. :)
