This is an Expressionism, or stylized, presentation of Assateague Pony, Moonshadow. Little did I realize that when I captured this photograph on June 23, 2021 of Moonshadow (N2BHS-CKP) in the bayside campground on Assateague Island that she would die in two weeks. Sadly, the week after I shot this this scene of Moonshadow and her foal, she was hit by a car and succumbed to her injuries about a week later. She was named Moonshadow because she was born during the solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. "For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move." Robert Louis Stevenson... My photography reflects such wanderlust. I have been involved with industrial photography, wedding photography and real estate photography but my love has always been landscape and seascape photography. Today I concentrate strictly on photography as art. Purchase one of my pieces to...
