Description
While the Assateague wild horses are usually seen grazing or foraging for food, this photograph, in a black and white monochrome presentation, happened at lunchtime. Therefore, I'm calling this "Lunchtime for Gokey Go-Go Bones."
Ms. Bones is a sorrel mare usually found in the developed area of Assateague Island, Maryland either in the Assateague Island National Seashore Federal Park or Maryland's Assteague State Park. Sometimes written with a hyphen, Gokey Go-Go Bones is identified with Keiper number N2BHS-A. No "Misty of Chincoteague" here, the Assateague Ponies are separate from the Chincoteague Ponies (on the Virginia portion of the Assateague Island).
