Louisville Slugger is claimed to be the #1 name in baseball, a distinction which has existed for well over a hundred years. Everybody that follows baseball knows the name of this (most famous) bat manufacturer - Louisville Slugger Bats - for sure.
The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory in Louisville, Kentucky is tabbed one of the best factory tours for kids anywhere. I slightly disagree because this "big kid" found it fascinating as well.
The giant baseball bat at the entrance to the museum can be seen for many blocks before you get to downtown Louisville and is a landmark unto itself. If you have ever been there you know what I mean. But whether you have been there or not, a print of this giant bat would make a great sports decor item for you home or office. Where would you display it?
