Description
Leaf peeping in Newton Falls, Ohio brought forth the spectacular foliage colors of a lone maple tree. Mother Nature works her magic in places other than New England Foliage and this is a prime example found along the Ohio Turnpike at Newton Falls. The magnificent oranges and yellows contrast wonderfully with the "cotton ball" blue and white cumulus cloud bundles of the mackerel sky.

Terrific fall colors! Reminds me of the sugar maple we had in our front yard as a child. I loved that tree.
Bill Swartwout replied:
Thank you so much, Linda. As an aside - it rained hard that very night and the next morning half of those beautiful leaves were gone.

Gorgeous, Bill. The sky was also cooperating!
Bill Swartwout replied:
Thanks, Mary. That's what really caught my eye - the combination of orange leaves and blue sky - my two favorite colors
