Description

Heading Out of the Indian River Inlet for a day of fishing in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. This is a common event for this area because the Delaware Seashore State Park with its Indian River Marina is one of the most popular fishing centers of Coastal Delaware.

What is a bit unusual, in the photograph by Bill Swartwout Photography, is the lack of any other boats in the scene. There is usually a lot of boat traffic through the inlet under the Indian River Bridge and also a lot of fishermen on the jetties on both sides of the inlet.
