Description
A dawn kaleidoscope of color - pink, magenta, orange, yellow, red and blue - greets a new day at the Indian River Inlet Bridge, Delaware Seashore State Park near Bethany Beach, DE. Sometimes the dawn sky is the most colorful before the actual sunrise itself. This blaze of color (only slightly enhanced in editing) appeared about 10 minutes before the sun rose into a summer sky over the Atlantic Ocean along the coast.
The Charles W. Cullen Bridge is a beautiful cable-stayed bridge that spans the Indian River Inlet in Delaware. The bridge was opened to traffic in 2012 and has since become an iconic landmark of southern Delaware. Standing at 215 feet tall, this majestic structure offers stunning views of the Indian River Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
As dawn breaks over the Indian River Inlet, the Charles W. Cullen Bridge comes alive with vibrant hues of orange and pink that paint the sky above it. Its towering presence casts a magnificent reflection on the calm waters below, creating a breathtaking sight that is hard to forget. Drivers crossing over the bridge during these early hours enjoy an unparalleled view of this natural wonder as well as the surrounding coastline.
