Description
Every dog, even Rover here, must yearn to run among the stars. There was actually a dog, named Laika, in space before any human from Earth went into near space orbit. There was also a "Rover" on the moon - a four-wheeled electric powered cart used to help astronauts travel over the lunar surface.
With all that in mind, this creation developed as an "Aspiring Lunar Rover" wonders what it would be like to cavort among the stars. A German Shepherd, standing in a field in the United Kingdom, has the Horsehead Nebula from the Constellation Orion as his backdrop. Who knows, it might have also been on his mind.

Thank you, Laurie. I have been fascinated with outer space since I was a child.
