Description
Nancy's Asian Lily, or Asiatic Lily, is enjoying a Spring Shower in the garden to help it grow. The droplets on the purple and white petals are not from a heavy morning dew but are actually raindrops falling in Fenwick Island, Delaware. The "Lilium auratum" is one of the true lilies and is oft called the golden-rayed lily or the goldband lily. These are perennial flowers, grown from bulbs, and regrow each year - provided they are planted in the right place. The Asian Lily is a pleasant addition to any garden bed and can also make a wonderful decor item on the inside of your home or office.
