Description
Rays of sunshine peek through the dark and stormy skies as the big storm, a long-lasting nor'easter, begins to leave the area. The sunbeams seem to take turns lighting up the many condominiums of Ocean City, Maryland's Condo Row.
The crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean may have pounded the beach for five days but the beach prevailed, as it usually does. Photographer Bill Swartwout was among the first to venture onto the shore when the beach officially reopened. Only 12 hours before this image was captured the beach was an unsafe place to be.
If you've ever stayed in Sea Watch, High Point South, The Capri or any of the other condominium builds of the "Gold Coast" you might enjoy this photograph. If you purchase a print or canvas for you home or office - where will you display. Or if you buy one as a gift, to whom will you give it?
