Description
Grain elevators are a common site on the Delmarva Peninsula. Modern grain elevators on the Eastern seaboard are typically steel, which allows for faster and easier transport of grain to market. This image captures a neat profile of one such elevator, which is used, in this case, to house corn products. The steel color of the silos and transfer screws seem to match the steel-color in the clouds on this particular day.
