Description
Returning from a "tequila tasting experience" in Cozumel, Mexico during a shore excursion during a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Western Caribbean aboard the cruise ship, vision of the Seas, we spotted this dude, He is, of course a mannequin and he was promoting Tequila at one of the may liquor stores in the city...
Tequila is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant. The blue agave is a spiky plant which, when stripped of its spiny leaves, looks like a giant pineapple. The heart, or core, of the plant is the "pina" and is the part that produces the tequila. It is first roasted before it is pressed to extract the sweet flavorful juices that are fermented and distilled into the popular Mexican Tequila.
