Engine #2632 of the Maryland and Delaware Railroad is now retired and resides on a siding in Selbyville, Delaware. It is a CF7 diesel-electric locomotive built over four decades ago by the General Motors Electro-Motive Division (EMD). The actual conversion was done decades ago at the Texas shops of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway.
This unit appears to be one of the cutomized engines used for road switching duty and short hauls through Delmarva. One such line runs from Frankford, DE to Snow Hill, MD. If you are a railfan (or know one) a print of Locomotive #2632 might be just what you need to document a bit of Eastern Shore railroad history. Order one today.
