Description
When Charlie Brown says, "Oh rats!" I don't think this is what he means. Iron sculptures have been around almost as long as the iron age has been with us. Furnace Town Living Heritage Museum, near Snow Hill, Maryland, has a "Sculpture Park, chock full of critters like this one. There are over one hundred such sculpture parks throughout America and more overseas.
Furnace Town is a 19th century industrial village that includes history and active (reenacted) events of the day. If you are interested in "Early America" this is a good piece to represent one of the artisans' crafts of the time. Where would you display this in your home?
