How sweet it is - that all of these tanks cars get filled with sugar syrup and products from the Domino Sugars plant in South Baltimore, Maryland. These tank cars are waiting in the Locust Point Rail Yard of the CSX Transportation system to be moved into place for loading at the Tate and Lyle North American Sugars facility (Domino Sugars) on the Baltimore Inner Harbor.
Raw sugar is offloaded at the "sugar pier" of the Domino plant - processed through the plant and then shipped - to help feed America (and points beyond). Do you like trains and rail cars and do you have a sweet tooth? If so, this might be the photograph for you. Where do you think you would hang it?
