The Purple Centrum aboard the cruise ship, Grandeur of the Seas...
The "heart" of most cruise ships is a central artium. On the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Grandeur of the Seas, the atrium is appropriately named the Centrum. This is the welcoming area when guests first arrive on board and is also central to myriad activities throughout the cruise. It is impressive because of its size and height, being multi-story, or multi-deck, as is the case in aboard ship.
This "purple tone" photograph is only of the "ceiling" as seen from the dance floor in the very center of the Centrum and looks upward from Deck 4 to Deck 9 and beyond. The image is almost "abstract" in design because of the intricate pattern of decks, railings, lights, support structures and windows. Of course, in person, there are also two elevator columns that are in constant motion.
