Description
Two of the 11 Fire Control Towers of coastal Delaware are (today) located right on the beach just north of the city of Rehoboth Beach, DE. The bases are now awash during very high tides. They were not built this close to the Atlantic Ocean - but the beach has been "marching westward" at about 10 feet per year - and these were built in 1941.
