Shortly after sunrise an orange-hued dawn sky silhouettes the Francis Scott Key Bridge against a dramatic sky. The "Key Bridge" is the longest bridge in the Baltimore, MD area, was opened in March 1977 and is named for the author of the Star Spangled Banner, Francis Scott Key.
The Francis Scott Key Bridge, also known as the Outer Harbor Bridge or simply the Key Bridge, is a Steel Arch-Shaped Continuous Through Truss Bridge spanning the Patapsco River in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. This photograph was captured from a vantage point approximately 5 miles to the west of the bridge.
Sadly, the Bridge was stuck by a large cargo freighter and (literally) collapsed into the waters of the Patapsco River on March, 26, 2024

That's a keeper! A beautiful but sad image. I am glad you got a photograph to remember the bridge.

Thank you, Joe. I have a few because I used to live near there.
