Description
Late on a cold January afternoon, CSX #1216 switch engine lies at the ready in the Riverside Yard of the CSX Railroad in South Baltimore, Maryland. This EMD MP15T is a 4-axle diesel switcher locomotive originally built by General Motors' Electro Motive Division in the mid-1980s.
Small, but powerful, this unit was originally built for the Seaboard System Railroad - which later merged into the CSX system. Hence, it now wears the blue and gold of the CSX Railroad.
If you are a railfan and like switcher locomotives, where would you display this in your home? Or would it look better in an office?
