Description
The Queponco Railway Station in Newark, Maryland, is one of the Museums of Worcester County featured buildings. Queponco Station stands today, silent and unused, as a symbol of yesteryear when the railroad was a vital part of the daily life of the people of the Eastern Shore.
There has been rail service on the Eastern Shore since 1872. This station was built in 1910 to serve passengers and freight as a point half way between Snow Hill and Berlin, MD. Because of dwindling need for passenger rail service, Queponco Station was taken out of use in the 1960s.

Excellent capture with superb composition plus the colors, lighting and attention to details are excellent. Also the added artistic touch elevated this photograph to a higher art form in our opinions. VERY well done Bill. L/F + Following
