Description
The Historic Greenwood Railroad Station has been in Greenwood, Delaware for over 150 years. Greenwood had its beginnings with the building of the Delaware railroad in 1856, with this being built in 1858.
Lack of passenger use cause by changes in lifestyles and modes of transportation caused the demise of stations like this a couple dozen years ago. This old depot is currently a real estate office.
Greenwood Station is actually in the center of town However, the clutter of surrounding buildings, poles and wires necessitated an "artistic move" to the local countryside. Where would you display this photograph and would you like it framed or printed on stretched canvas?
